Agrochemical soil analysis

FERTILIZER APPLICATION RATE CALCULATION

The crop yields depend on a sufficient amount of nutrients in the soil. If there are not enough nutrients, mineral fertilizers and microfertilizers should be added. But how to calculate the exact fertilizer application rate? How not to make a mistake and not burden the cultivated area with an excessive amount of macro- and microelements, so as not to contaminate the environment? Besides, the efficiency of fertilization is lost, as some nutrients block the uptake of others (in case of a suboptimal fertilizer application ratio) and, as a result, funds are wasted and crop yields are low.

оptimal ratio of nutrients

Agrochemical soil analysis by the company “BAST” is an assessment of the potential of each crop field, which helps to optimize the crop cultivation technology and significantly reduce the costs of an enterprise on resources  seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and growth-regulating chemicals. This service will help not only to draw a conclusion about the application rates and dosage of fertilizers, but also to determine the optimal ratio of nutrients in each specific case. Thus, the agrochemical soil analysis makes it possible to develop effective recommendations for choosing the form of fertilizers and the correctness of their application.

THE IMPORTANCE OF AGROCHEMICAL SOIL ANALYSIS

WHY IS IT WORTH PERFORMING THIS ANALYSIS?

01
In case of loss of natural soil fertility, resulting from unsustainable economic activities.
02
With reliable information on soil chemistry, the production profitability can be significantly improved.
03
To maximize the reproduction of its biological potential, each crop requires adequate nutrition during the growing season.

PERFORMANCE OF AGROCHEMICAL SOIL ANALYSIS BY TM “BAST” GUARANTEES:

  • item increased crop productivity
  • item reduced costs of purchase, transportation and storage of fertilizers
  • item application of nutrients which are necessary for the plant
  • item improved soil fertility
  • item control over the crop growth and development
  • item reduced negative effects of excessive fertilization on the ecosystem

THIS SERVICE INCLUDES:

  • Soil sampling (1 mixed sample consists of 20 specimens). Depending on the objective of the survey, it is possible to use an adaptive grid (for homogeneous zones: ground cancellation, relief, electrical conductivity);
  • Establishing the potential of a crop field and the planned crop yield. To determine the field potential, climatic conditions of the area (precipitation, temperature), soil conditions (natural and effective soil fertility), actual soil analysis and economic efficiency are taken into account;
  • Setting critical factors related to soil characteristics (soil acidity, etc.) and soil nutrition conditions;
  • Comprehensive analysis of soil samples based on a range of indicators: soil pH (soil acidity), buffer pH (soil acidity and establishing the liming requirement), the content of soluble salts (salinity), of organic matter, of nitrogen (NO3), of mobile phosphorus (P), of exchangeable forms of potassium (K), of calcium (Ca), of magnesium (Mg), of sodium (Na), of mobile sulfur (S), of mobile forms of microelements of zinc (Zn), of copper (Cu), of manganese (Mn), of iron (Fe), of the sum of cations and base saturation (H, K, Na, Ca, Mg);
  • Development of agrochemical maps for interpolation of nutrients in the crop field, general agrochemical maps with a crop field differentiation according to the degree of nutrient supply.
